    thanks you

looks like the black insert around the stock grill is an option for 85 bucks from Toyota so that didn't come with my black out package

I dipped my chrome border, it's not as nice as having a real insert but it looks about the same. I didn't even know the black insert was an option.

It shouldnt be an option in Cement. Cement looks best with all black.

Was taking the front off hard with the sensors being on the Toyota logo?

The sensor was pretty straightforward to detach, this thread has really good instructions of the process.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2018-trd-pro-grille-w-tss-p-radar-info-diy.530769/

I thought the hardest part was popping the damn plastic tabs to detach the grill and border. Be patient and take your time when working on that otherwise the tabs will break right off. I had to step away drink a beer and come back to it. Once it's done the reinstall is really easy.

    I would pass on it.

I don’t like the decals on the tailgate. Especially on a white truck.

Also debadge the entire truck. I wouldn’t pay for black emblems.

The only thing I like is the black exhast tip and thats gotta be cheaper than what they are charging you for it all.

Go get a TRD Pro grille and a black exhaust tip and call it a day.
Trucks look so much better with zero badges.
I personally don’t like that much black on a white truck. By the time you tint the windows youve got too much black to white with black badges.
    Thats my opinion anyways.

The best part of your truck is that you can change it whenever you want. If you don't like the black overlays, take them off. If you don't like the chrome badges, take them off as well. The sky is the limit.

I agree with this sentiment. When it warms up I'll debadge the "TDR Offroad" stickers on the back. I know what my truck can do, who cares if others know. lol I did the same thing with my JKU "Sahara" badges a few years back. The older I get the more I'm into the "beauty in simplicity" thing.

The blacked out package is the XSP which is common in the Southeast, didn’t care for my black emblems and ended up debadging them all.

I respectfully disagree with your opinion, I find that a mix of black and white on a white truck is the most beautiful sight there is! I also like the look of completely blacked out vehicles as well. We all have our own opinions though and I don't hate the idea of no badges either, that's the beauty of customizing our own tacomas

I agree. The white Tacoma with the black accents almost give a storm trooper look to me.

Definitely. I found a pretty sweet decal online that is TRD/Storm Trooper that I want to put on!

Having a hard time finding an aftermarket black exhaust tip. Can someone please share what they used and where they got it?
