Anyone have pictures of a 1st gen without the bottom plastic part of bumper?

    If you do this, there are a few inches of coolers that are exposed and can easily take a rock, so do a bit of preventative work in that department. I incorporated it into the mount of my light bar.
    I have to say, that 3rd gen 4runner was one of the best vehicles i ever had, never had a mechanical failure, would go anywhere, was a fun 5 speed and just a dam great truck. It even preran 250 miles of the baja 1000 last year with just a sonoran steel 1.2 kit on it, and did just fine.

    The front end looks so much better with out the valence on the bumper. I was just lucky that the turn signals were in the steel section of the bumper on that rig , so it was simple.

    I got rid of the valence and then put a lightbar on

    I planned to remove that crossmember and make some kind of skid plate but I think I'll just get a full tube bumper at some point.
