Anyone have problems with their 5300 Pop 'N' Lock - doesn't open

    Mines always felt like its going to break...but hasn't yet luckily....all the "paint" has come off of it though and it looks like crap :(

    I have had mine a few months. It works as well as the original. Hopefully it continues to do so.

    Broke my black latch holder as well. Went over to Toyota, explained that I knew exactly why tailgate was having problems and a technician went into the back and brought me back one, no charge.

    I'm also in the same boat!!! -2 for the Tacoma no locking tailgate and no locking glove box! Love everything else about my truck though! Not looking forward to oil changes thougj, but I'll save that for another thread.
