Looking for a good review from someone that has them. I'm looking at the chrome ones, biggest concern is how far they stick out and if there is any "give" to them when you step on them? These are for a 12' DCSB

Any benefits to the 4" over the 3"?

I had them on a previous truck. They were ok. Stick out quite a bit. Don't really "give" but because they stick out past rockers, there is more leverage and body can sag a bit when you step or jump up onto them. Spring/shock sag. I have 5" bars on my Taco and they are better. More surface so less chance of slipping and they just look better and more solid.

Well, these things stink! Looks wise they are great but not very functional at all!!! They site way to close to the body. Helps a little when climbing into the truck but it can be real easy to miss a step when getting out!
