So I’m looking to get my white 2013 Tacoma painted because right now the paint is chipped, scratched, ugly, and just gross :( all estimates I’ve gotten for a professional job have been around $4,000-$5,000. I’m not looking for a showroom finish, but not a cheap slapped on job either. Does anyone know good painters who charge less? I’m in Georgia but still willing to hear from all locations!

You can have it line-x for less probably, then not have to worry about scratches and probably some dents too

I ran the risk of having my truck being taken away by cartels... BE CAREFUL IF YOU GO THIS ROUTE!!!

I have a buddy here in Charleston SC that paints on the side and does good work, he painted the front end parts on my truck when I swapped to the new front end. Fenders, bumper, hood, grille, and flares. The price you pay will depend what you want done, if you want it done right the handles, mirrors, bumpers, headlights, weather seals around the windows, and belt moldings will be removed along with the flares, if you want to change the color and if you want the door jams done then the doors will need to be removed. A lot of cheaper paint jobs will just tape everything up IMO that can lead to over spray and peeling of the paint down the road because it wasn't taken to the edge of the panel.

Tried buffing out yet ? The super white comes back to life pretty easy . Once it comes back shinning, sratches , etc wont seem as bad . If you plan on keeping truck awhile avoid cheap paint jobs .

I think Maaco just paints over everything including dirt and bird poop that is still on the old paint.

A solid paint job can be had for $3500.
A solid wrap is like 2500-3000. But After say 5 years it starts to come undone.
