Anyone have these flares?

Been throwing around the idea of getting aftermarket fender flares. Still considering bed liner on my stocks but still not completely decided. Happen to find these and noticed they're a lot cheaper then what you normally see. Are these a good deal and would they hold up? Anyone have them or have experience with these?

Keep in mind those specific ones are for a long bed.

 

I didn't know there was actually any difference in the flares between a short bed and long bed

 

I believe the rear flares are different, but I could be wrong.

 

I wasn't sure. Besides that, Im sure they sell then in short bed as well. You know anything about them?

A quick Google search results in several issues with poor fitment and poor customer service from that company on Tundra and Duramax forums but I haven't seen any personally. I believe the difference between the long bed and short bed rear flares is the cut out for the fuel lid btw.

 

Thanks for the info! I wondered about quality since every other brand is normally twice the price. And to beat the dead horse here, of course you get what you pay for a lot of times. I didn't even consider the fuel lid location difference!

 

I believe there are some eBay ones that are a lot cheaper than the bushwhackers that some people on here run and have good fitment.

 

I'll have to look into that. I like the look of black flares so I've debated on buying new ones or bed linering my stocks. One of my stocks has paint chipped off anyway. It's just a decision of how much I like the exposed bolt look or not.

Yeah I used to be and now I'm kind of steering away from it. It's almost too much going on in one spot at a time for my liking.

 

I put the bushwackers on my 07 and they ended up moving enough to scratch the paint where you could see it on the outer edges on the rear. I regretted changing the flares more than anything else on that truck.

 

I may just go ahead and bed liner my stocks. I'll probably first plastidip them to be sure I'm gonna truly like the black look or not and then make the decision.

 

That's a solid plan. Buy new clips before you remove them because you will break some taking them off.

 

Also if you do line-x or something spring for the uv coating. Nothing looks worse than bedliner after it fades.
