I do my own Honey-Lemon-Garlic wings on smoke, some hotter...wing lover I am...
Hope you get things sorted out the brakes, low fluid? ABS malfunction, its a complicated mess anymore on how they integrate into the driveline and 4wd functions.... make them fix it, and get the high HP loaner and beat it...hey gas is cheap...

I had a truck come in with that about a month ago. code pulled was brake switch cross-coupled or something like that. basically the switch read it was on and off at the same time. New brake light switch fixed it. only one that has shown up. Don't remember if it went into limp mode though.

    That sounds really tasty!

I actually think the "brake malfunction " is a computer issue that chokes the throttle in some way because the brakes definitely weren't engaged but the acceleration was just not there. And yeah, i hope i get a loaner if it's in the dealership for more than a day.

The switch came in next day and took probably 10 minutes to put in.
The brake override is affected by quite a bit though so it could possibly be another issue causing this but from the single experience I've had with this issue it turned out to be a bad switch.

Oh ok, but this stuff registers in the ecu/computer so they won't look at me like I'm crazy right? Thanks!

Yes it registers in the ecu and depending on what it was it'll either be a history code or permanent. they'll be able to see what code was left behind. it could be multiple or one. either way they'll hopefully run a health check which will go through and check all available systems and show all they're codes. the tech stream is a pretty neat piece of equipment.

if you did it by accident there would be no check engine light. this is a link to what the override basically is

The service tech called me to tell me they're checking the stored codes. He mentioned that no check engine or trac off lights were on in the morning and that it drove fine but they did noticed a couple of stored codes.

I went to Long Wongs in Tempe a couple of years ago and it was awful. I ordered the BBQ wings and they literally tasted like Ketchup was rubbed all over them instead of BBQ. Which Long Wongs did you go to that still makes good wings and which flavors would you suggest? There is one near South Scottsdale off of somewhere around Scottsdale & Thomas Rd IIRC, but I have not yet tried it. Native is still good but they charge too much for their "Quail" sized wings. I really love Zipps golden medium.

I go to the one on 28th st and Thomas. All Long Wongs locations are grimy places and don't get their pizza or burgers or anything other than hot wings. I always order mild or hot. I'm probably not brave enough to try their bbq flavor lol. They do their wings OG style, no breading or rub, just straight to the fryer and they use franks red hot (cayenne based) sauce mixed with some butter. It's simple but i like my wings like that.

I love wings with a passion but they're a bit tough to find in Phoenix, at least good wings are.

There's a place called "welcome chicken and donuts", I've heard they have greta korean bbq wings and from the looks of it, they probably do. Been meaning to try that place.
