Does anyone hear creeking inside their cab when driving over uneven surfaces? Like when straddling a curb or going over a speed bump? Sounds like something is flexing on my driver side, where the AC door and main door meet. I only seem to hear it on the driver side, so its bugging me a little.

Perhaps the creaking is your leaf springs?

I suppose it could be the driver side leaf spring. It sure sounds like its in the cab, though.

There was a thread before about cab creaks, and it was the weather stripping on the door. Not rubbing against the cab, but the inside of the hollow stripping rubbing on the interior walls of itself.

Some people fixed it by spraying some lube inside one of the small holes in that piece of stripping.

Yup.. I have that annoying 'creeking' sound as well as the 'kazoo' sound when driving at high speeds. The only two complaints I have regarding my truck.. :/

Do you happen to have a link to this thread, preferably with the page number to the pictures of the "fix" :)

The best way I can describe my sound is the noise an old wooden boat would make rocking in the ocean. Does that make sense?

I will lube the seals and see if it goes away :)

Give them a good exterior cleaning (and the paint where they contact the cab) and see if it doesn't help, if not, try shooting some kind of silicone lube inside the weatherstripping and then see if that doesn't fix it.

My guess is one of them will do the trick, or both.

My kazoo noise was not the front at grille like many threads. It is in driver side weather stripping. I pulled it some and it is better.

Right, I've read other threads and narrowed it down to the sealing areas along the doors.
So if that's causing my 'kazoo' type noise and the seals are causing the 'creaking' noise, then both issues are coming from the same areas right? All the rubber surrounding material around my doors.. I'm thinking I'll try to clean up the areas around my doors this weekend and wipe down anything that has rubber with my 303 protectant and see how that works.

My door seals creak like crazy. Clean with silicone spray lubricant about once a month. You'll be reminded if you forget.

I'm fairly certain that my creaking noise is coming from the leaf springs...up a curb, over a bump, and when I shake the truck from the outside. Any idea how to fix it?

    Later.
