What we really need is a tacoma with a built in ice chest in the bed.

We need a Taco with a front locker, not a fucking ice chest!

I know when Honda releases a "Special Edition" it usually means the last year production for that iteration. Maybe 2022 is the year for a total fresh for the Taco, 4Runner and Tundra.

This is the Trail Edition. 4x4 is an option. If it were the Rock Edition then the front locker would be the option. No Rock Edition yet!

Well that looks not at all exciting. Meanwhile, Ford is bringing out a new Bronco with (probably/possibly) a solid front axle.

To The Extreme, should be downloaded to the head unit on all Trail Edition Toyotas.

You're right about all those SE Honda models, but Toyota isn't Honda. I highly 2022 is a refresh for the tacoma since it's still selling like hotcakes. The 4runner is selling decently too even though it's ancient but the tundra has been spotted testing with a new rear end configuration.

Maybe toyota could remove the spare tire and suspend a 50 gallon chest from the bottom of the truck to keep the bed space open?

The design is already out there. Honda has perfected it.
