There's 0% chance that bed cooler could hold the # of beers I need for a weekend of camping. Hard pass.

It also looks like that integrated storage could interfere with the bed rails, depending on what you wanted to attach to them.

LOL. Hopefully, the passenger side ballast tank will be available with an individual part number after release.

Interested in the 4runner just b/c they will have Army Green. But its based on the Sr5 premium model which is less appealing

I like the concept of the in-bed storage, especially since the wheel wells take up so much bed space as is, but these render the majority of the bed completely useless now. You basically HAVE to buy one of those bed racks just to properly utilize it. Toyota should find a way to just put the extra storage in the existing wheel wells or along the inside of the bed liner instead.
I do see the practicality if you literally mainly used the truck to drive off road on trails and camp though, but who is really doing that enough to justify the price tag and the permanent addition to the truck that doesn't even look different from the rest of them from a distance?

No TSS, manual windows, manual hubs, shorter reverse, remove clutch accumulator, auxiliary battery.

I would trade in my truck right now for one.

I “here’d” about Toyota releasing a cold climate edition. Basically it comes with a loaded new frame in the bed. When your current frame tots out after 7 years, you can spend a week in your garage wrenching and doing a frame swap

Those side bins from the press release seem to be removable. So if you do need the space you can remove them. I wouldn't personally want them but i suppose if you plan on camping having those bins would be nice provided you have somewhere to store them when you need to use the full bed. Don't quote me on it but i think they were even pitched as being useful as coolers for tailgating/beach days. Not the best idea Toyota ever had but its new and somewhat interesting even if poorly executed.
