Just wanted to see if there was anyone else on here that wanted to go for a drive off road, or knows of a good spot to get work done or after market parts in the HRM.

    Cheers,
    Mark

I live in Lake Echo. You might find some usable stuff in the performance auto places in Burnside or Halifax. I spend too much time on my motorcycle to go 4 wheeling, but I am sure there are a couple organizations that do that kinda thing. Just look for a muddy 4wd and you should be in luck.

    Hope this helps

I ride an 07 1800 Goldwing. I spend lots of time on the backroads at speeds that would not be much of a challenge to your bike. I am usually within 10-15 klics of the speed limit. I spend more time out of town then in cause traffic lights and cars suck. I can go down my street to Highway 7, turn left and goal day with only a stop sign every now and then. In a week or so, I am planning a Iron Butt run. 1600 klics in 24 hrs or less. Going to Quebec and back.

You truck looks pretty good too.

oh man I want a goldwing, all day comfort and enough power to leave all the four wheel jerks behind... my bike is not comfy for more han a few hours , did the cabot trial in july and my ass hurt like I was in prison..

enjoy your trip man...and just so ou know I am not one of those morons doing 145 km/h in a school zone, I tend to stay somewhere around the speed limit too.......

I know this is somewhat of an old thread, but you can try facebook and look up 4low, they are a nova scotia offroad club and usually do runs every sunday and some random times during the week. A couple yotas in there with the zuks jeeps and chevys. I was wheeling with them for a while when i had my 4runner but the brand new truck is not seeing the mud, and everyone is there to have a good time :)
