Anyone here successfully converted the AC compressor to an onboard air system?

    Ac compressors are not made to pump air . The incoming Air would need to have so much filtration to keep clean and dry.

    The ones I removed worked like crap.That is why the got thrown out.

    Want Low bucks find a Air compressor off a Truck with Air brakes in a yard block off plate oil lines brackets your good to go.

    Big enough tank a 3/4" impact works great

    You would need oil in the air to keep the compressor lubed, so not gonna work. Better off adding a separate compressor (electric) or the full size guys have an old A/C compressor that has separate crankcase oil that they use, maybe you could add that to the truck with a lot of bracket work and a longer belt? Lots of work for air haha.
