I'm basically between buying a 2017 and waiting for the 2018 to drop at this point.

I don't know if the 2017's will drop in price after the 18's are released or if the 2018 will offer something so substantial (TSS and metallic black anyone) that I just cant live without.

    What are you guys thinking?

Check out the 18 thread. Black metallic is the new black color as shown and confirmed along with updates to packages, price, colors, and grille.

I am in the exact same boat. Waiting for more information on the 2018 before I decide which route I want to go! I have talked to a couple of dealers and they aren't aware of any changes. I do hear the rumors of the TSS coming which will be interesting for those who want to mod the front grill.

Here you go. Notice the grill/emblem change, theory is the emblem is that design to house the TSS system as it is similar in design with other models with TSS.

Perhaps a corrected valve body and a correction to whatever is causing the rear end to howl.

Same frame issues from 05-10, same leaf pack issues from 05-16, I won't hold my breath, such is Toyota.

How difficult do you think it would be to swap that over to a new grill? I am curious if the TRD PRO will have it and I could transfer it over to a TRD Pro Grill

If you look behind the current TRD PRO grille there is a slot or bracket that looks to be the housing for it (TSS) already, but I doubt it involves just swapping that sensor, there's likey wiring, software updates to ECU, etc. etc.

I'm in this boat. Deciding whether to get a '17 in the next few weeks or wait for the '18... looking for a TRD sport 6mt with premium package

Do you like leather? If not you need to find yourself a 17.
