Uhrichsville / New Philadephia (Tuscarawas County - E Ohio) here.

Have a 2001 4x4 XCab, which is a nice truck but basically my "beater". Not really into mods or meets, for that matter, but I enjoy the site and it has been helpful in solving a few minor issues for me.

I do appreciate a nice truck though, I always take a good look at well thought out Tacomas and 4Runners.

I did put my bed liner in the classifieds (for free), as I am going with a spray in liner. If anyone wants it, let me know.

We need a meet for all our CLE/Akron people and everyone in between!!! I live in Stow North of Akron and have always wanted to hit up some trails, met and admire other Tacoma's. I find myself rubbernecking everyday seeing other Tacoma's on the road.

I wheel fairly often BLKout. I am usually one of, if not the only Tacoma in a group of Jeeps, haha. Southington offroad is the "local" place to wheel. Southington is a good place to start out & they're having an event next weekend, I hope to make it out in the afternoon on that Sunday (August 3rd). Are you lifted or do you have any more aggressive tires at all?

I've been through Yankee Lake twice with mine so far this year. No lift as of now, and tires are getting replaced before winter. This weekends no good we are camping at West Branch.

Same with me on wheelin yotas my buddies got an 04 tundra and an 94 tacoma so when he goes I go. The first time I went to Yankee by myself I got looks, once I took through the trail I was just another passing truck ha.

Oh, and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a reputable shop in the Columbus area for front end alignment.
Looking for a competent tech to set me up after installing lift and UCA's.
    thanks

Yea, Idk about those guys ^^^ at least the Hilliard location. I went there the other day and started talking to them about a 5100 lift and all pro leaf pack and they had no idea wht I was talking about. They even said the leaf pack wouldn't do anything except add extra weight capacity and that Tacoma's weren't good trucks to lift...I said "oh ok" and walked out the door. Defiantly lost my business at that location, I have been to the Lewis Center location a few times when I owned my Cummins and they seem pretty knowledgeable.

As far as good shops, Trails West is supposed to be pretty good, but I don't have any personal experience with them.
A Good shop I would recommend is Dart Automotive in grove city

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
Sounds as if you are doing the parts install yourself and needing alignment, not someone to install the components. No knowledge of Columbus alignment shops, but online reviews are your friend. I have mine done by a guy who's blind in one eye...lol. Small owner operator that uses older mechanical methods, but has always done me right in the past and has a sweet 442 to look at in his shop while I wait.
