Tim Mines currently at a dealership. They gave me a free rental. My drives side leaf pack had the bottom rail snap and was bending my break line so they gave me a rental. Everything is 100% covered for me since it applied to my Vin. However the parts for that recall and the airbag recall aren't going to be in to them till the 17th

Mine is going into a local shop. $186 for heavy duty which I was assured was better than what Toyota is putting on. (Although I'm unaware of what make).

If I want something more similar to what I have currently have (ome) I'll have to wait for him to order it and those will cost 275-300.

So no brainer, $186 for HD
All said and done he is quoting $660

I'll hope someday I make the list and Toyota agrees to pay me back. But I'm not holding my breath.

I just found a pretty sweet deal on a ARB Deluxe Winch Mount Bull Bar for 1st gen Tacoma. Looks like it just bolts on and you splice in some wire for the turn signals. I might have to take the plunge...Me thinks!

I just got my notice that I qualify for the leaf spring replacement..do you guys think I'll be ok if I have an AAL in my current pack? And will they swap them over to the new pack?
