Getting ready to take tires to be mounted and balanced, maybe check alignment too. Where do you guys recommend?

Welcome! Hope you can join us on a ride soon!

Morris Mountain looks like a beast of a place to ride. I honestly don't think my Tacoma is equipped to tackle more than a Class 1 at their park, so I'd probably just tag along with one of you guys for the trip and be the photographer.

Sounds like River Rock ORV may be closed? http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/usa-southeast/936259-riverrock-closing-3.html

Rivertown Toyota mounted and balanced my wheels on mine when I got it (already had the wheels when I bought the truck). They did a pretty good job and didn't scratch or harm the wheels. Pretty sure they have a road force balancer. $80 for all 4 if I remember correctly. Haven't gotten an alignment from them.

Also I think PTAP charges a similar fee, $80 for all 4 mounted and balanced and $80 for an alignment. http://www.ptaponline.com/services/ I've never used them but people seem to like them. Especially the pavement princess types. They also have a road force balancer.

Just went to Cullman off road park probably around 3 hour drive from Columbus but well worth it. Also my first time at a real off road park it was great.

Good find about the RR, sucks though (and its terrible for the reason!)

As for the wheeling, you should def drive out to any park, even if you don't think you will drive a lot. Once you see how well the truck does, especially stock, you'll be amazed. As far as damage or anything, it will be obvious when something looks too crazy/stupid to try, and in that case we go around, or spend some time workin the problem with the vehicles that wonna try it. These things are extremely capable, with some A/T tires and being stock. The only other thing is the driver mod, which is only learned haha  (and its a NEVER ENDING process)

Anyone had any work done by local metal Fab shops? In the market to get a new rear bumper, and possibly a skid plate. Just curious if anyone had had dealing's with any of the shops before I start seriously shopping around.

I highly reccomend Eddy at SOS Concepts in Charleston SC. Excellent customer service, superb workmanship and fantastic products. I have gotten my sliders, front skid plate (custom) and front bumper (aluminum) made by him. He also did a bed rack for me that i am selling because im going a different route with my truck. I would put him up top of the vendors out there!

I may be in the market for one? love some pics if you got um.

Its a SOS Concepts- 42.5" long. Bed rail cut outs, i have a DCLB fits with a tool box and high enough to swing out my bed extender without touching bottom. Has extra support on top for mounting a roof top basket ( which i have for sale also ). Less than 1 year old. Last 2 months it has been staying in my spare room. It also has Hi-Lift mounts on passenger side.
