Exhaust reroute, cargo mat, WeatherTech side window deflectors, glove box and center console organizer. Figured I'd post this, if for no other reason than to bump this up and get some more life here.
Just did an exhaust reroute on my truck. Used Midtown Muffler, charged $80. Took about an hour. I walked to McDonalds, had breakfast and walked back. Truck seems fine, no change in sound or performance. Breakfast was ok, had the sausage burritos and hashbrowns.

Soon to be getting some skid plates and rock sliders. Looking at the RCI aluminum ones. Want to get the full package along with the catalytic guards, differential and fuel tank. The rock sliders will, of course be steel, and have the top plate. I keep going back and forth with the aluminum vs steel with the aluminum leading. I eventually want to build the truck out as an overland rig, bumpers, RTT, etc. I'm not planning on doing any heavy rock crawling but do want some protection from accidental bumps so I want to save on some weight. Constructive comments appreciated.

My goal is to travel to Prudhoe Bay, AK. then just travel around the U.S. and see the sights.

My thoughts on the aluminum vs steel is to just think what happens when you throw a small rock at a street sign. The dent is fairly substantial. Now size that up to a 2k lbs truck landing on a soccer ball sized rock. Pretty much any trail you visit will have some rock out croppings. The greater weight and cost will suck but it’s better to be safe than sorry. Just my 2¢. I’m looking to get the RCI steel guards so I’m biased lol.

Well, I pulled the trigger on the RCI Steel. So the full skid package (engine, transmission and transfer-case w/crossbar, catalytic guard (only sell in alum), fuel tank and differential skid plates along with the rock sliders with kickout and top plate.

Yes, the sausage mcmuffin is superior. I had actually walked to Del Taco hoping they were still serving breakfast. Seems they stopped doing breakfast when Covid started. I had breakfast burrito on the brain at the time.

I haven't found any here in Columbus. You can find a monthly meet up in Atlanta. Search Skottles and Bottles on facebook. Also check out Outlaw Offroad Atlanta. This one is a business that also does stuff. I've not been able to attend any of these due to my work schedule. Every time I try, something at work comes up.
There really isn't any trails in this area other than dirt/gravel roads. You can find those on Gravelmap.com
