    What a fun truck!
I got an email today saying that Diode Dynamics has Halos that turn amber with the turn signal, and variable brightness of white (6000K) with DRL. Only $45 for a pair. I'm thinking about jumping on this.

    A couple of questions:

How hard is it to take apart the front light assembly?

Has anyone done this? I can't find an installation write up.

I feel like @mesojdm would know best about this.

Not hard, just takes time and patience.

    --Has anyone done this?
    Many people

--I can't find an installation write up.
Multiple write ups (including mine) on disassembly. Although I didn't install halos in my original build.
I used 80MM for my new retros and the diameter was perfect.

I finally got around to reading your write up. Gosh, I just don't think I have the patience to bake my headlights, lol. I appreciate your craft, you're a true artist around these here parts. :hattip:

Beer, movie, flat head screw driver :) heat actually makes it worse, let the sealant cool down after you rip the lens off. What we do is pop one lens off and put the light aside, then we seperate the second light by the time we do that the first one cooled off and we start cleaning the channels
