It is as of last year, they finally got the certification. I know a couple guys that got the Magnuson superchargers through URD in CA.

EDIT: I assumed you're talking about the Magnuson through URD....you're correct though that URDs own supercharger is not CARB approved

TRD recommended about every 90k miles...but it depends on a variety of factors. I'd say every 100k is a fair estimate.

The impact a supercharger has on fuel mileage is much more dependent upon your right foot than on the supercharger itself.

The whine is addictive, as is easily passing and surprising the hell out of people.

Valet? You want to stay at Lake Hotel? That price point...yikes! I'm more of a Lake Lodge cabin person haha

And as far as camping, peak season I get out of the park on my weekends and find a dirt road somewhere.

Anyway... If I had 5k to drop I'd check be all for one of these, maybe there will be a sale in the not too distant future.

I called the toyota dealerships in my area (TX) and they said they are no longer willing to reflash them and dont even have access to the tuning software thru techstream anymore..

Im guessing this varies by state, but in tx it was unavailable for me. I went with Ucon bc of it

Yessssir! Was disappointed at first but i think it turned out for the better.

I called multiple dealerships in the SA area and they all told me they no longer reflash or install them due to liability reasons.. told me the software was unavailable to them. I personally think theyre full of shit, but figured id put it out there as it turned out to be a dead end for me

It might vary by dealer. There are some that specialize in Superchargers and others that just refuse to do them, or charge some crazy amount to basically turn you away by price. I had one dealer quote me $8k for install. May have changed since they have been discontinued under the TRD logo.

TWICE. Both times were the fault of the fuel pump/poor installation of said item. Both strandings can be directly tied to me unfortunately :pout:

My fuel pump failed PRIOR to my Supercharger install. Go figure. My fuel pump and my entire engine has been far more reliable after the blower and supporting mods install than it ever was in NA configuration.

Installed my magnuson at 76k miles. Did it on my own over 2 days. Back in Feb.

No issues. Also running UCON which adds exhaust cam gears and thermostat change (and the piggyback EMS)
