Trying to get the VLED small add on brake light bar (12") and seem to keep having some power gremlins. Soldered the power to the left tail light brake/run and at first and wasnt surprised when the OEM brake on the left was not fu tioning. So I installed LEDS as brake lights and everything fired up fine. Of course I failed to initially realize the running lights were not on.

VLED continues to mention "other Tacoma guys have no issues and just use the tow 4 or 7 pin wiring". I am guessing they are referring to the Reverse model of this light.

My BMW bike is canbus and when adding lights have had to use inline diodes as splitters because the power wire is rum/brake. Do I need to get a similar 1 into 2 wire diode sized for the 2a draw of these LEDS?

Of course they are bright and quality lights but VLED insists they work as is. (Btw VLED support is quick and responsive. I just think this setup is not as plug an play as the reverse setup)
