    Heyoo
Anybody else into 3d modeling motion graphics and vfx?
I started dabbling in some cinema 4d recently and it’s taking FOREVER it feels like to get comfortable. Feels like way longer than it took to figure out after effects/premiere. I know it’s a different world altogether and just need practice

here’s my first attempt at modeling my truck in c4d
After a few hours yesterday got to this point

Feel like i did 3 passes on the front corner just from re-doing stuff
I did the grille bezel like 4 times cause i kept getting weird polygon formations filling in weird directions that i couldn’t select/remove with the plane selector.

just wondering if anyone else has taken the plunge into figuring out blender/maya/3dsmax/c4d? What’s your background coding game design videography etc And how was your experience/ how long it took to learn/ any regrets from choice of software or advice/tips on good flow of how to learn the important parts
    Thanks!
