    I'm tearing down an scx24 and in time will rebuild it. Why start from scratch when you can crawl from day one with a 60 dollar deadbolt.

    Yeah I've seen the tracks issue and why I asked actually. There was a video showing a screw that had a varnish on it causing the wheels to seize and split the track at a cleat. I really like the kyosho builds but finding parts is tough and upgrades are expensive too

    might be something to be scratch built. There are a few YouTuber vids of these things with way more power just ripping it up.

    This might be a better deal than the Kyosho.

    Finally took the LC80 and BBX out to the dirt lot. The LC80 on 3S is way too fast. Even 1st gear is quick but 2nd gear is flat out crazy. The LC80 on 3S was faster than the BBX on 2S. I ended up swapping the 3S into the BBX and the 2S into the LC80 and both were a lot more fun.

    Then I rolled the LC80 over and broke the servo mount. It was a painful walk home carrying both cars and trailer.

    @Strictlytoyz

    Ordered these, and I believe this dark grey is the color I'm getting since they don't label their shit.

    Got the wheel nuts to go with them as well.

    Hoping they look good with my wacky paintjob and decals.

    Same!

    Fell in love with them since I first saw the ad in my feed. They look pretty plain without the wheel nut so you know I had to add those in.

    The Treal's I really liked were something I stumbled upon by accident on a youtube video. Just a random, uploaded video (guy had like 5 subscribers) and I was like "oh shit I dig those wheels" :rofl:

    Stupid Amazon never even shipped them after a week of waiting.

    It's those little odds and ends that'll make the difference in the whole rig, even though 3 of us now will be running the same chassis.

    I thought I ordered black labels but just checked my order and sure enough I ordered trench king's instead. That's alright. However, I may go with a smaller silicone insert as the ones I put in make the tire a little stiffer than I'd like. We'll see once the weight of the truck is on it. I have 2 other sizes I can try.

    You have the XL right? Curious to see what the different frame length does.
    We got those just in time, he's sold out of all versions.

    I read tons of great things about the Black Label tires.

    But Trench King and Trail King are up there among some of their most popular tires as well so I wouldn't write them off - I bought Trail Kings just because they were on sale.
