Thanks! The front brace definitely can't be installed if going motor foward. As it sits I have no binding but we'll see how it is after I have the servo in. Already checked with motor/trans in with driveshafts. So far so good

    Damn that looks good!

All fancy with the brass goodies, goes well with the wheels.

Forgot I had that winch servo I bought by mistake so I threw that in for clearance purposes since it's essentially the same dimensions as it's steering counterpart. Clearance is good. Shocks bottom out before the servo hits the magnet mount. Only issue is the front magnet mount contacts where the wires come out of the servo preventing full compression on the driver side. Easiest/quickest fix would be to move the mount back and have the front shocks and magnet mount share a hole. I'll have to wait for my body and see where the mount will actually need to sit

Does your servo tray have much adjust ability?

Mine does, so I'm not too worried there.

It was when I tucked the rear upward that the bend in the rear links would collide with the tray you've got installed. Granted I didn't install my shocks so maybe those will limit my uptravel?

I could shim the servo foward with the provided spacers. Don't want to mod anything yet till I see where the magnet mount will actually live. Only other thing I had to modify was the rear diff skid. Had to dremel the round top of it flat so that my link riser would seat properly on the axle

    Gotcha.

The Meus fortunately allows multiple mounting positions so I guess I'm glad for that.

One mod that was suggested to me was to drill out the pivot cup at the end of the steering link in order to mount a servo horn on my Reefs RC servo.

Didn't want to do that so hopefully the horn that arrives tomorrow solves that issue.

Just looked at the meus servo mount. Interesting how it works. Looks like there multiple option as far as where you want the tabs to sit. Pretty neat. I suppose these spacers that came with this nsdrc mount are supposed to accomplish the same thing. Just more ghetto

Motivation to get creative with my ir60 body lol.

On another note I thought this was a pretty good base line. Once I have the all the electronics on it'll add more front bias. Thought about getting wheel weights for the front to get that "magic" 60/40 everyone talks about but looks like I might not need em.

    Your wheels didn't include weights?

I know the Injora's I got for the FCX18 didn't (purchased as a wheel/tire combo) so I bought brass weights separately.

Then after I placed my order for those Fifteen52's I was like shit do I need weights? Already included.

One thing I'm not super stoked about is the rear driveshaft angles due to the angled skid. I can post some photos when I'm home from work. Unsure if it will be an issue or not

So my picture didn't show it well but I did have the slip yoke hanging off the axles.

Wait till you see what it looks like with the trans in. You can already see how angled up the output from the trans is gonna be. Angle only gets worse the further the rear droops out.

Yeah it'll be a bit until I find out. My transmission won't be here.

Here's the stock motor and trans from the GX470 which should be close even though it's rear-facing?

Yeah probably a non issue. Haven't seen anything about it. Just not used to seeing that on my ascent lol. I'll still post a photo of what I see when I'm home for you guys

Spoke too soon, apparently my transmission did ship and it's expected tomorrow :angrygirl:

Going to fill the shocks with oil and mount them up along with the rear battery tray.
