The wires come out the back instead of the side and don't impact or drag on the frame rails

I just got one for each of mine. I have not had a chance to put them on but will be addressing this before long myself.

    What mount is it?

I'm side tracking here - apparently my thread caught the attention of someone and he's PM'ng me.

Apparently it's somewhat a known issue with hole alignment. Another guy showed me the exact same issue you and I are having with having perfect links (even switching lefts to right and vice versa).

So he just really lengthened the links on one side to offset it and get things centered.

    Untitled.jpg

The 3D printed skid is the issue as you can see in the pic he sent. Just confirmed mine is as well.

Allows you to reroute the wires out the back.

Bah, okay ill have to look at mine but most likely same issue.

You add oil to your injora shocks yet? 2 of mine are binding internally and also the pivot balls don't move freely in the bottom eyelets.

I saw it's on backorder everywhere

Yeah I added oil when I installed them. They spring back really well on all four corners (tested them before mounting).

I have the back set sitting there without springs at the moment since I'll have a lot less weight back there versus the front.

Guess we'll see how high or low it sits once the motor, trans, esc, and receiver get mounted come tomorrow.

As for the pivot balls, I think one or two at the bottom just needed some massaging to get them to loosen up. For the tops they just slide right in so I used o-rings on each side up top.

Are your bottom shock mounts too angled maybe? I had to use spacers to help keep them aligned.

Yeah the tops are fine it's just the bottoms. May have to clearance them a tad to free up the pivot balls. If anything I need to add extra spacers for the rear top mounts. Fronts are perfect

2nd order for Meus axles has been delayed until February 22. WTF? It was out for delivery an hour ago...
I think they are being pilfered off the truck.

    What about the 1st order?

Mine came from China so it took a week and a half; arrived at the same time as my Injora axles.

Each came in their own padded envelope with Chinese posting.

I cancelled that one because it was stuck in China for a week. The new order said 2 day delivery, this morning tracking showed them on the truck out for delivery.
Just got an email saying they are delayed again and I have until Feb 22 to cancel the order.
I'm just gonna wait until the end of the day and see if the orders got crossed.

Just talked to Amazon customer service, it is delayed and they are lodging a complaint on my behalf as the seller did promise 2 day delivery. It's supposed to ship in the next 48 hours, from China... Might make it out of the country before Chinese New Year happens.
On another note, the order that was cancelled is still on the way and is currently melting in California.
It is still on schedule to be delivered by the 24th. :notsure:
The double order and cancellation may have shorted out the system. Maybe the fires have disrupted the network.
I have no idea what's going on. Last time this happened with an order, I eventually got it and a full refund as well. Wheels for the UTB should be here today, maybe.

Well, servo horn arrived and it's perfect!

The horn is metal and it's threaded for M1.4 versus the much larger setup included with the Reefs RC servo.

    20250123_084631.jpg

Of course now I'm just waiting on my transmission but I feel like clearance won't be an issue at all.

If bolt going through the front is an issue, I have room to move the servo forward and run the bolt through the rear.

    This is just mock up.

Without looking at actual receipts and going off of memory before tax or shipping -

    $85 for the axles
    $75 for the chassis
$70 for the servo ($90 but I had $20 off)
    $11 for the servo horn
    $20 for the shocks
    $62 for the links

Then not shown are (looked up my receipts) -

    $45 for the wheels
    $1 wheel caps
    $65 for the esc
    $13 for the tires
$80 for the tx/rx ($100 but had another $20 off)
    $24 for the body
    $30 for the motor
    $18 for the driveshaft
    $12 for the transmission mount
$50 for the transmission (arrives tomorrow)

    And that's everything?

Gotta say, the brass links and wheel choice on @Strictlytoyz is gonna be sick with the patina paint job

Going to be a real sleeper of a rig
