1st order made it to Vegas, it was in California this morning.
No actual delivery date, waiting for USPS to take possession of it.
I'm assuming it was safer to get it out of the state by air rather than by road at this time.
    Or the tracking is fubar.
It just might make it by Saturday, or Monday.

    Tell me about it.

LGRP transmission shipped Saturday, which is only a 4 hour drive to my house.

Meanwhile, I shipped out two orders this Tuesday. One customer is in Washington and the other in Illinois; that's much farther out than 4 hours

Well, I got a PM earlier today that both customers received their orders today and yet here I am waiting days to travel a short ass distance :bananadead:

I picked up an 1/14 Arrma Typhon 223 blx brushless a number of weeks ago and have been using it on 2s but I just got rid of the crappy spektrum battery and got a 2s gens ace and a 3s gens ace......holy shit this thing is hilariously fun!!!! I highly recommend it for anyone getting into bashing for the first time....if you are getting your kid into it, grab the Mojave instead so you don’t need to worry at all about possibly breaking a shock tower. This thing takes a beating and is excitement personified!!

    @Deathbysnusnu
    @Strictlytoyz

I talked to Andy today over at Palm Power batteries.

I've read good things about his batteries in random forums but never really seen videos on them before, at least not in the RC world.

Come to find out he makes them for robots (think robot wars, etc). Got to talking to him a bit and I'll be ordering two 2S 180mah batteries from him tomorrow along with his charger.

The 180mah is sized to fit perfectly on the battery tray for our chassis which is why I'm going that route. Now, I don't know what you guys are going to do for plugs and all but apparently JST is the most common plug type.

Not wanting to mess with cutting wires and switching plugs, I'll be adding a JST to PH 2.0 adapter he'll begin to offer tomorrow afternoon on his site. Apparently, he sells a shit ton to the RC crawler community even though that wasn't his focus or main customer base.

Just thought I'd throw that option out for batteries though I'm sure you guys already have something figured

Gonna be using the FMS 380mah. It's a very tiny footprint and fits the tray. Same connector as the Lizard Lite.
I'm not opposed to making my own packs either. I've become a fan of splitting the packs and it becomes easier to distribute the weight. I have a pair of 1s 150mah that might sit nicely on each slider, and put the ESC/RX on the battery tray.
I'm a ways off to make any real decisions. :p

Imagine if after all this time you found out one of your items was DOA?

    Quick function check -

I did order the bluetooth module for programming my esc, just taking a bit to get here.

The motor spins super slow which I'm stoked about.

So this mini z conversion about got me today. Got to the final bag and the video on YouTube he does just that. Steering worked fine but no throttle. I tore it back apart and got to troubleshooting I found the potentiometer was incorrect so I got that set up correctly and reassembled it. Now it is working. I just need to finish the rear end and front suspension/wheels and tires. I also plugged in the fhss miniZ module into my 10px and it recognized the miniZ settings to get it bound to that radio once the conversion is completed.

But yeah it's easy to get going only to forget to do some sort of preliminary check.

I only waited until now since a few a parts were purchased locally and I still have the receipt.

Bluetooth module and transmission arrive tomorrow! :angrygirl:

Only thing I'm truly anxious about is getting the magnetic body mounts set up correctly. I don't want to fuck up my rainbow vomit paintjob.

So the drift shop down in Denver has an annual weekend event where they have a theme and folks from all over go down for three extended days of rc drift. They call it potluck Matsuri. This year the theme is hotwheels and 1:10, 1:32, & 1:64.
    https://www.scalesciencerc.com/

So I picked out a hotwheels super I found back in 2024 found a miniZ to model it after and also found the matching wheels and body on 32nd and 10th scales. The 10th scale will bey rdx with a new body, this is the miniZ conversion chassis. And the superTH will be revealed at the event with the bodies on all three models.
    Here is the conversion kit:
    https://products.enjoysmile.co.jp/hrd-project/

Here is the finished chassis. I may need to install a gyro interruptor and I definitely need to reverse the gyro. I have suspension pieces and weighted parts to help with initiating the drift. I need to tune it and program it to the 10px now.

This was a ma020 awd. Now it is a rwd with high angle steering

Hmmm unsure if injora sent the wrong front driveshaft or not but it's definitely too long. Need to measure it and see what's up

    Thank you for reminding me.

Just placed an order for 2 sets of links (4 total).

Purchased a set for a C10 (to use the front) and a set for a Deadbolt (to use the rear).

Means I'll have a C10 rear, Deadbolt front, and both front and rear for a Gladiator

Just ordered driveshafts for c10 and deadbolt lol. Turns out...gladiator length drive shafts don't work with gladiator length links. Go figure :notsure:

    Oh shit you're almost there!

And how weird, I would've thought your Gladiator driveshaft set would work.

I only have them because I thought I'd have to go Gladiator links when I bought the XL chassis
