I masked the lower part of the windshield in case glue spills out onto it.

Also used painter's tape to keep off any glue that may spill onto the chassis mounted magnets.

it’s far from a comp rig but it’s very stable. With wide axles and crazy wide wheels it’s fun to goof off with. It’s now on a set of hardpark wheels but still quite wide.

Oh for sure that's what I meant, she would probably hug the side of a wall like crazy lol

But I can't go wide as suggested! It's a dedicated comp build.

24 hours, but the garage is much cooler so I hope that doesn't affect it's cure time significantly.

I'd keep it in the house but it off gasses like crazy.

    Sheesh those sound wide

I'll measure mine tomorrow once the glue cures

This one isn't a basher so I need to adhere to regs for competing - never done it before so I wanted to give it a try

    I'm at 130mm wide.
Speaking of bodies, LHS only had one in stock, pink Bronco. It's still there.
Ordered the Injora Baja bug, should be here next week.

if I flip the hardpark wheels it becomes 120mm width but it rubs badly on the shocks.

Another trim on the sillycone, one more ring to go.

wire tucked under the plate, the O-rings pull double duty keeping them out of the driveshaft and battery hold down. Running a different lipo that's closer in size to the 3s on the way.

all cleaned up. I'm gonna run mine. :boink:

    Looks clean!

I've been thinking about putting my ESC on the other skid like yours.

It's just the damn servo wire is so long.

    @Deathbysnusnu

Before I forget, make sure you toss some loctite on your servo bolts! Whether it's the bolts for mounting it to the servo tray or the horn itself.

Freaking torque on the 99Micro loosened up the hardware even though things were pretty tight on there.

I folded/tucked the servo wire between the trans and the RX on the skid.

I'll get a pic in 24 hours

What I did is I used a small wire tie and wrapped it around one of the holes on the chassis to keep it tucked away from the motor and shock but I do like your method.

Wire from the ESC to the RX I went ahead and wrapped with techflex and now that it's stiffened up, it stays neatly tucked under the front magnet mount.

That's what I normally do. The only one long enough to twist is the servo, and it cleared better with a tuck.
