I gotta stop making these. New filament is much better, lighter and stronger, great flex properties and seems to withstand a bit more heat. It also prints much cleaner, less post processing.
Hot glue was used to fix the magnets and the surface didn't warp. I would not use hot glue on thin Lexan.

The original single cab with pinched tail.

Extra cab with pinched tail. 2g lighter than the above.

and the Xtra cab with no tail, personal favorite because of it's minimalist appearance and the gas tank is prominent. Debating on a simple roll bar for this, and adding a couple of light buckets to the front.

Pics from yesterday, it was super snowy and icy so I left the C2X in the car. Hiked with the TRX4M in my backpack most of the time and broke it out when conditions allowed / when there was crawling to be had. As bad as the TRX4M is at being a hiking companion (it barely keeps up with me at a walking pace), it's sooo nice to just have it on me and be able to hike without being weighed down (the C2X with extra batteries and such is >10 lbs).

Just pulled the trigger on a 1/10 scale crawler. Going to be a poizd t3 kill modechassis with dlux fab axles, transmission and shocks. Holmes outrunner and esc with a reefs servo. It should be quite fun. Will post pics here when things start landing.

Added 5g to it, but it helps complete the look. Wanted to add a "bed" to it, but the extra weight...

It's just perched, I'll CA it to the body.

Took advantage of a warmer (38° and sunny) day and took out the Enduro. The trails were all super slick, but it handled everything pretty well. Definitely could use more aggressive tires though. My servo didn’t like the repeated turns in deep snow, so that may get replaced by the end of this year depending on whether it actually gives out or not.

Just need my springs to arrive tomorrow for the Hard Park shocks, then run my SR315 receiver and toy with it while I figure out shock placement.

Also need a driveshaft set to go with.

Really unsure if I want to just add a receiver for it or buy a new transmitter and receiver set.

Just returned a set of Injora 1.9 Comp Pins and "Rocks Tyres" (bead of the tires was all messed up on 2 of them), and returned the half cage too. Just too much of a project to take on now with all the other moving parts (not to mention a baby arriving soon). Will revisit when things settle down, have some plans for the C2X that I want to see through but just too hectic now.

Driveshaft set is gonna take over a week or so, otherwise she's done!

    20250304_094526.jpg

Stole the receiver from the other rig and if I like how it runs, I may just buy another receiver and bind manually when switching rigs.

    Fitment was tight

    20250304_094902.jpg

    20250304_094843.jpg

Weighs in at 393g total minus the driveshafts.

If I go plastic, I can keep it all under 400g but if I go stainless like the set I ordered, it looks like I'll be in at 403g to 406g.

Great way for him to make free content lol, reminiscent of TST's One Takes-- you all come to me, not vice versa. Hey, if it works it works...

Clearance is nuts even when compared to the 15 degree skid on the MD

24yep does this already, called "Roastin' Rigs". It's been a good watch, fun to see the different builds and how they do.
Cape Crawlers seems to "borrow" quite a few of his idea's, which is fine. 24yep does feature them in his opening credits, so I imagine they have some correspondence.

    Yep

He'll share the owner's IG, etc.

Talk about the rig without any bias at all regarding the parts used and really just takes them out to run the same challenges as every other rig (being careful not to damage them).

Although he's somewhat awkward, I enjoy watching his stuff. Definitely not the type that comes off like a salesman.

    @Strictlytoyz

My Flubrc order from January still hasn't shipped, so I found them on FB to ask them a big favor - can I change my order, assuming it isn't printed/made yet?

They let me switch from Slymeballz for my LGRP Trail King tires to a set for my LGRP Black Label tires.

Fucking win, don't have to buy a new set and wait another 5-6 weeks since I don't use the Trail Kings after that tear incident.

Mine arrive tomorrow. I will say however, I'm super happy with the performance of lgrp's clawhammer tires with BAMF inserts. Won't hesitate to run those inserts in the future. Excited to try the flubrc inserts on comp build #1. Currently out of town for work till the end of the month though

Forgot to take a pic but I installed my new 62mm Injora tires and the 10mm brass hex extensions. I used the Injora yellow silicone inserts from my old 58mm tires, and because they're undersized they allow for some good squish. They vent out alright but seem to struggle with letting air back in, so I'll probably have to drill some small vent holes. Ended up putting the stock body back on, I just couldn't get the "F-150" body to look right no matter what I did. I'll either edit this post with pics tonight or just add another comment.

Did you have to do any additional venting on the wheels you mounted the clawhammers onto?

I'm not a fan of drilling into new wheels like @Deathbysnusnu had to.
