Eh, fuck it I ordered them.

Saved $30 with the membership, but paid $10 for it so I still saved $20 :D

It refreshed when I tried adding it to my cart.

Said there was an error, and then it loaded a new page to choose Monthly or Yearly.

It's only then that I was able to add to my cart and pay for it.

    Hell yeah!

Not even sure what rig they'll go on. Be nice to have the set now though.

I'm sort of done with building comp rigs since I've got two line slayers so far :D

I feel that, I'm just about wrapped up with any more comp builds for now. Need to get in some events and see what's up. Did you see lgrp's new gripper tire? Looks nice

Yeah I was crazy sick a week and a half ago so I missed their big competition. Apparently people were there since midnight (signup started at 530pm).

But lately since I've been going, I keep running into two or three same guys often with two of them hitting the competitions.

Setting up challenges against each other has been as close as I can get to 'competing'.

You gonna do a scale build next or something? And yeah I saw the Gripper, looks bitching!

I'm thinking I'm gonna try out an LGRP chassis for the Spider 9's.

Their chassis kit with their body since I've already got an MR24 transmission on hand.

I'll have a set of extra LGRP wheels and tires with the 1.3's coming in.

Cheat Code would walk that. Wonder how long before someone's ride hits the floor? He should install a catch net or something like that. Let it fall, but be caught more reliably.

That was my thought exactly when he was trying to push it up that one obstacle - he did it with less finesse than he does with his own rigs.

Bet they're gonna be grippy AF

I love the Black Labels, but really they need to be cleaned to retain any real grip

Finally had the chance to take out the Ascent 18 last night. I'm super impressed with what it could handle. These tires are fantastic and the weight in the wheels really helped keep it planted.

I love my lil Ascent. How are you liking the extended hex's?

I was unsure at first, so far I think they help quite a bit. The only issue I have with them is the bottom of the portals are now further in from the wheels and add something else to get caught up on. In all honesty I still have to run it outside without the extended hexes, I only used it around my living room before I swapped them over.

That was my concern, the portals on the ascent 18 with the increased offset of the injora stamped rims are already hanging out a bit. (then you gotta deal with greater scrub radius and i really dont want to have an excuse to upgrade the perfectly good stock servo)

@Strictlytoyz Is it an extra front Super8 you've got laying around?
