Damn, those look like they'll give you tons of traction.

I recall that being similar to one of the patterns people "cut" from their Injora pins.

Too many bodies to choose from :p. It's the heaviest yet, but really fits well, plus lights!

    Clears everything.

My FCX lights are long gone lol. What's the mock fuel cell you have on the back?

Haven't had time to take the rigs out

Thinking I'll take the new build to the local course one of these days, get it all scratched up and actually use it

It's like a freaking 1/18 scale next to the Cheatcode

This Power Wagon body was made for this chassis. It fits perfectly with the skids. Almost feel bad about stealing it from the FCX.

Printed a front and rear mag mount. Goo'd the front and bolted the rear in a couple of holes that were already there. First rear mount was minimal and goo'd in place but didn't want to stick to the finish.

You can see the glass insert above, pretty sure that thing is the source of all the top weight.
This weighs in at 50g. The Yota is 35G. I think there is a dab of CA holding it in from the wipers, still trying to pry it out without breaking it.

Not sure if I want a roll bar on the back of this. Still need to wire up some lights.
The styrene enclosed body really amplifies the gear noise. Hoping the glass removal quiets it down and I'll cut out the front and rear windows and put them back in.

It's like having three different rigs. :D
I love the mag mounts for the ease of switching them out.

Nice looking Power Wagon! I love hardbody's on a scale rig, just a bit more realistic as far as toy trucks go. I've posted in the recent past that these type of builds really look cool with a truggy type rear cage...

Scale rigs and comps used to be my passion quite a few years ago...

Went with purple UV LED's, easier on the eyes and the effect is nice.
Not sure about the rollbar, it does look good, just seems to hang out there, but the look is what it's all about. I'll tweak it some more. It does need lowered about 1-2mm at the top. Maybe add some lower tube to visually "tie in" at the rear of the frame. Or maybe just shorten that bottom loop so it's closer to the fuel tank. It sits at the same spot as the Xtra cab did, but being taller, just looks funny.

Working on a Yota single cab version now. :anonymous:

    I vote no roll bar

Edit: I'm biased, I run the FCX24 PW an the IR40 without roll bars

Lol, I printed out like 7 of them to get it right. I agree though and the people have spoken, no rollbar. It's gonna roll over and walk it off like a vintage Power Wagon should.
I removed the rollbar on the FCX24 PW as well when I first got it.

Last pic dump of this obsession.
Four bodies, One chassis to run them all.

The Injora Baja Bug. 24.6g weight. Lightest of the bunch and the most prone to getting hung up on the sides as they stick out from the skids and run full length. Usually results in the body coming off or deviation from line. Looks cool as hell. I want to keep it clean so it doesn't see much action.

The Extra Cab Truggy. 34.9 grams. Sliced the hell out of the original file and struggled with printer issues for days until I got it right. Was a favorite to run as it fit snug and low, rarely gets hung up, usually on the Xtra portion near the rear tires. You all witnessed the evolution of this body.

The FMS FCX24 "Butcher Butch" PW body. 55.5 grams. Absolutely the best look and fit for this chassis. Too bad it's such a top heavy thing, very prone to rolling over in areas the other bodies cruise right thru. This is for poser pics and light wheeling. The only one fitted with lights. If I crack the glass out it may just be a contender.

The Single Cab. 33 grams. Just printed this yesterday, fitted the tint today, absolutely love this one for looks and performance. Has that little bit of extra body clearance in the rear and looks more centered than the Extra Cab. There will be more pics of this one. This looks more like a vintage single cab truck minus the rusted out bed with a simple roll bar in the back. Needs decals to be complete. Maybe a print a tiny fire extinguisher strapped to the bar.

The chassis with the 2s battery (18.5g) and fuel tank (1.2g) weighs 483.6 grams.

Ran that body for a minute on my SCX10, but ultimately didn't like the fit or performance.
