Associated RC10 T4.1 Factory Team, is the very best, (in my opinion) the newer Losi TR22, I think, has gotta be nice, but the one I'm hearing/reading about, (there are none at my local track, yet) are the Koyosho RT5 (I think). See what's running/winning at your local track, and what has the best support hobby shop wise.

I understand that SC is all the rage at most tracks, and I like the scale looks of them, and your local track my have little following for the stadium truck class, so choose accordingly. You may have the baddest mofo around, but no one to prove it against.

Hpi E Firestorm gets my vote if your just bashing, since its the most durable. Not sure which its best for racing.

He's got a video of it at a track somewhere, i'm pretty sure. if not he'll put one up before too lonag.

My guess with all aluminum in the front like that you're just going to bend a-arms. and that's IF you hit something hard enough.

I wish I had bought a stadium truck instead of the sc...

I would recommend The Associated truck or the Losi 22... Or if you want something inexpensive the Losi XXX-T is uber popular with lots of aftermarket support.

Hold the presses for a second.. Now I am confused. What is the difference in a Short Course and stadium truck? I thought they were the same

    Yeah.
Dropped a bunch of coin over the weekend to get back into R/C. Checked the local track and the biggest class is Short Course 4WD Mod, which is really cool since that is the truck I wanted to buy. I picked up the SC10 4x4 kit, it went together nicely. I set it up based on info at RCTech.net, seems like it should work well. Anti-sway bars should be here tomorrow (shop didn't have them).

Now I just need to decide how to paint the body. This always takes me forever. I should stop thinking about it and just shoot some color on it since it has been 20 years and the body will be toast in a month anyway.

I like to stay simple. My slash is silver with a red roll bar and black bed. My SCX10 is metallic green with a neon green stripe. Better than messing up some fancy paint job.

    Yeah.
I like to go with something bright and easy to see, with a design that makes it easy to distinguish the direction/angle it is going. And it has to look cool.

I have chosen flourescent yellow and a medium/bright blue, but I forgot to get black for the bed area. Maybe I'll pick up some flourescent orange, too.

See why this takes me so long?

Yeah, this thing has takin some hard hits and has yet to bend any a-rms. Even if I do, FLM will replace them for free.
