I still use Sermos/Powerpoles on my buggy and my truck. I think I've stated this before, but I SWEAR I'm still using some that are twenty years old, (reused of course). I use Deans on my aircraft. BTW, I just dropped for this, Parkzone Corsair, and a Spectrum DX6i radio, I'm sporting a little chub right now....

Trying to get my axle/roll pins off of my SC10 to put on hex adapters.

THEY BE STUCK. How the eff do I get them off? I've sprayed WD40 on them, so I've at least got a start.

FINALLY got my truck going today. Still don't have the axle pin-hex adapter thing straightened out just right. BUT. I got it running and it would probably leave my jato sitting until it hit 2nd gear. Great handling on top of that! Couldn't be more pleased with the ESC/Motor/Battery combo.

At the end of balance-charging 2 4000mah 2S batteries my thunder AC6 charger is reading 97 Degrees on the my infrared thermo. Is this normal?

I've never checked the temp of my charger, but there is some heat generated in the charging process, does that charger have a built in AC/DC bridge rectifier? If so, that's prolly most of the heat, (mines in line and gets warm).

I have the Thunder AC680 and it doesn't get very hot at all, granted it has the built-in fan.

Sweet! What kind of bumper is that?

97 degrees is not hot at all, think about it, it should feel cool or ambient to the touch, as a person is 98.6.

Yea. My peak chargers for my NiMH and NiCd batteries gets like 115. I figure that's normal.

Also, I've run a few batteries through my truck with the new motor and ESC. With the plastic overtray ON the ESC still hasn't reached 70. Granted it's about 40 out.
