Yea. I'm already a little bit bored with it. I need longer straights with "faster" jumps... I'll probably double the size in a month or two. :anonymous:

Check these pictures out... I like the second picture, where at the holeshot you can go either right or left and meet in the center pretty cool I think a6fa40f9-32f3-0b20_ebf4f3a916ea1df987b4c46c0fa74ca136b891b2.jpga6fa40f9-32ff-c22f_bbf17828e6dc5397a307147df93cb09e5193920c.jpg

Just ordered a Slash 2wd VXL

    http://traxxas.com/products/models/electric/5807slashvxl

Tell me something good about the Traxxas VXL Velineon brushless system.....
Should I definitely pick up the optional cooling fan for the ESC? I will be running NIMH 8.4V battery packs thru it. My son and I both have Traxxas Stampedes, and I am excited to add this pony to the stable :)

Get a couple 2s lipo batteries at least 5000mah and a better charger(if you don't already have one.

Lipo's are confusing at first, as I am still learning.

The wall charger that comes with the truck sucks balls, 8 hour charge.

Running the NIMH on my 4x4 slash. Got the ESC and motor stupid hot.

Ask questions a lot of players have a lot of experience with LIPo batteries

True basher!! I was showing my two year old the controls and I accidentally ran it into the garage at full throttle. Dent in the garage, not on the slash. I ran it into the tire of my taco at full throttle and no damage.

Haahaahaahaa. I have launched it off the top of my taco, off the bed of the taco, and the 5 steps leading into my house. I have rolled it countless of times.

I am Triing my hardest to break it for shits and giggles, but it just wont.

I was thinking about running it in my parents waterfall/fountain in their pool today as well to see how water proof it is

Idk if I'd ever check that feature, water and electronics sounds like a bad idea! Even though they say it is I've seen plenty of fails on youtube.

Say you get water damage being waterproof, does traxxas warranty it?

Fwiw the motors run fine in water. Servos are sealed pretty well. Its the esc and rx that you should worry about

I run it on mine but wouldnt say it is absolutely necessary. It all depends on how hot you are running and if you are using a 2s or 3s battery.

Just going to be running 8.4 volt NIMH packs for now. Guess I will try it without for now and see what happens. I suppose if it was that critical, it would come with the Slash.....
