Reviewing them for the greater good! And will probably upgrade them to the max later on, I'm sure.

He must have sponsorship from Traxxas or something. Wasn't he just complaining that he didnt have anymore time and he was going to scrap a bunch of his projects before completion?

I'm not sure. He seems to favor traxxas, though. Along with the rest of the people on urc. I doubt he payed what we would for all of that.

    HA! holy eff.

I know he's received a few free "mystery boxes" before because he orders so much. One was a Savage XS Flux.

HAHA Good point. He must make some serious cash or have some serious credit card debt.

If I did, it wouldn't be for a bunch of crap like that, well, maybe the EXO.

I really don't know much about them, I've seen exactly two in my life at the track, not sure what models they were. However, both did break before the main. I'll say this, they "look" well engineered. I know the driver matters to some degree on breakage also.

Great. Just great. I said I'd never buy a crawler, but this changed my mind . . .

Probably gonna get one after I figure out all of the parts that I would need to do this.

    Everything but boost =[
The only why I picked it up was is because I got it for $40!!

How can I improve it racing wise?

Or should I just get a different stadium truck and not waste my time on the rustler?

    Thanks for the help

Don't quote me on this but the rustler is kind of like the tacoma of the R/C world.

There's a whole subforum for the rustler on URC. Check out this guys build.

The Rustler was never meant to be a racing platform. Steve Slayden did race one for a short period of time however. Traxxas isn't really a "racing" brand. To get any of there vehicles race ready it takes many mods to do so. The only platform that is ready to "race" is the Revo, but nobody races the MT class no more, which sucks IMO.

The people who are serious about the Team Durango brand, know to buy parts when the are available. The people who are the main complainers are the ones who want everything yesterday.

Personally I like the fact that they are releasing new chassis to strengthen their product line. It's not their fault that parts aren't available.

Plus any Team driver is very helpful. Ryan Lutz and Randy Pike will answer any question you may have on RCTech, as will any Team Durango rep.
