"Im kinda hooked on these thanks to TW and this thread so a buddy and me want to get 2 of these.
I don't know anything about them but they look fast well built and a blast, any comments or feedback (pros cons of this set up) from the vets here would be appreciated alot."

yeah those look awesome...i would prefer the truck though... hpi baja 5t...but they are the same vehicle just with a different body and a few other things...they are expensive...i have had nitros in the past and they are fun just require alot of work which is why i got rid of mine and went electric....it used to be that electrics didn't go as fast as nitros but now electrics go faster than nitros with the new brushless motors and lipo batteries....nitros or gas require tuning based on weather conditions which sux here in alabama since it's 30 degrees one day and 70 the next...lol...so you are constantly having to adjust it....i love the electrics cuz you just charge the batteries and go have fun...then afterwards you don't have to do anything but on nitros you have to do after run oil in the engine and clean the air filter and such...electrics are just alot easier...plus there is no hobby store near here so getting nitro gas i had to drive like an hr or so away to get it....so gas is fun just requires more "work"....i work enough at my job...don't need any more..lol

i think traxxas has novice or bashers in mind, people who just want to drive. Team Associated has the racer, performance products in mind. traxxas is the ford of this website, imo of course.

Fastest right now is the yellow 4wd tundra! Novak 5.5 hv motor and speed passion speed control. 4000mah 2s lipo! good for about 38mph. The STI is a spec car that we race in a class called rcgt. The class requires you to use a 17.5 brushless motor and lipo battery. We use a spec tire and these cars are good for about 32mph.
