I feel like I'm right in the middle on this nitro vs. electric thing...

I love the torque and control with my brushless SC10, and the fact that, in most cases, I can wax my nitro friends' ass.

Then again, there's nothing quite like opening up that Jato on good flat stretch of pavement as it screams past and the tires have doubled in size.

I've always been a gear head so I'm gonna prefer the sound of nitro over the whurring of an electric motor.
But, as a "driving-enthusiast" I like the more precise control I get out of the electric trucks.

BUT the most fun I've had with R/C's is driving that tmaxx. It's just so big and ridiculous. :burnrubber:

That is true. If it would only rain here more. But you better believe that whenever it does rain everyone is in their truck heading for the mountains. Dust sucks. Speaking of, we are supposed to get our first good rain of the year finally this weekend. About freakin time too.

Damn I don't know what to do......

The RC10T4.1 looks sweet but the Losi 22T looks real good.. but if I get the 22T it would take me a while before getting it running tough.. The RTR is too expesive..

not sure which way to go, what do you guys think?

Yeah and the first time I drove an rc car I was steering it and age 2. I'm 26 now. So I've been around then since I was still shitting my pants. You are more than a tad anal about your setup. I raced guys like how you're protraying yourself to be and I'm willing to venture that you place far too much energy into setup than into being a great driver. How many 13yo kids you know racing expert? When I did it I was the only kid racing.

I'll Clarify my 10th scale statement by saying I went to 10th scale gas knowing that electric was faster even at that time.

    Yeah.
I just got a Losi 22 buggy, and I think it is very nicely designed. I had a hard time going Losi because I have always had AE buggies and trucks, but the 2WD AE offerings could use an update. I love my AE SC10 4x4, though, it is completely dialed.

But I think I should have got the B44 buggy, I like 4WD better.

^ 4wd is too easy to drive. I like driving something that takes skill.

    Yeah.
Yeah, I admit it, I like it because it is easier to drive. But, it does still take skill to go fast, just a different style of driving.
