They just made the Toro 8 combo but I heard there have been issues with it. I just threw in the 4000kv 4pole 4x4 combo in my 8th scale short course truck and its pretty ridiculous how much power it has. On 3s it balooned the front tires so bad it tore the foam insert in half and launched it out out of the glued tire lol. They have the combos at www.ckhobby.com and I think they have the best customer service around. I really recommend them.

Thanks, I'm looking at something around 2000kv. I'll have a look, at this point I'm trying to build a 1/8 scale buggy on the cheap.

I see they offer nothing in the range I'm looking for, and I'd be running 4S, so I guess I'm looking at Hobby Wing stuff.

They do have motors in your range but no combos with esc's. Check out their tenshock motors.

Yeah, I seen those, but they are as high in price as name brand stuff. It's kinda strange the ultra high kv motors are half the price of the lower usable kv stuff.

    I'm waiting....

J/K.. Of course.. I'm just trying to put together a "knock off" 1/8 scale, (so, unlike me) until I can get back on my feet. Another buddy pulled the trigger tonight on a new RC8.2e. We have declared an official track (our private track) work day Sat. Have six or seven fellows committed, two loads of dirt should be delivered before then. Owner has a tractor/landscape box and a Bobcat on premise. Prolly gonna mess up our sprinker system, but, we should be able to get our track whipped into shape. I'll post a few pics along the way.

Posted several pages back, but here she was in all her glory.... Gonna redo eveything adding some distance, cause all of a sudden everyones interested in 1/8 scale. Again, just a private track with a half a dozen members, with power and water.

A couple of us bought Motards, and the track really went to hell over the winter, usually the best time to run. But the owner is really excited, (just bought a new RC8.2e), so, it's on like Donkey Kong....

Had a couple Jato's going on my track yesterday. They did surprisingly well. Also got MY Jato sold off and picked up a Robinson Racing 22T Pinion for the SC10.... Now I just need my servo to come in... and new tires.

Anyone have a good technique to remove old tires from wheels so I can put new ones on? I've heard soaking them in acetone works best.

I don't want to put those in the oven that I cook my food in... Doesn't seem like a good idea.

Also, still waiting on the Pro-Line Tundra body to come out... Might have t4 paint it up for me.
