what made people angry was that they shifted focus over to the "mini" & "micro" crowd and Horizon Hobby ran the brand into the ground. Also the fact they started making less and less kits. The TLR brand is all out making the racing crowd happier, and bring back the power that Losi had with racing vehicles.

yep, and him and a couple others started up their own tire and wheel brand AKA

yeah, i have on of these

    syma s107
bought slightly bigger battery and shaved some weight so i can fly longer.

any fan or even the heat or a/c can f-up the flight path, though

    Wow - that looks sick.

Is it similar to the Havoc Heli in maneuverability? The Havoc Heli I have now is a bitch to turn - the previous ones I've had have been much easier.

I even have all of the weights and two thumbtacks on the nose and it still takes some serious skill to fly it.

Don't waste your money on those pieces of junk. They never fly right and break easy. If you want a toy you can fly in the house and learn on... look into the Eflite helis. Best starter helis would be the Force helis, which are remakes of the blade mcx, or look into a blade mSR. mSR can be extremely stable, or it can be setup to go fast....plus its extremely durable.

Oh and they are also 2.4ghz, meaning you won't lose signal like the IR transmitters

hope you aren't refering to the one of mine, because i disagree completely.

i bought a set of replacement blades at the same time as i bought the heli.
i have based that thing so many times....i still have not had to fix or replace anything.

    also, it was $20

You must have gotten lucky on your purchase, usually those off brand helis are copies of the e-flight models. They are notoriously not reliable, sounds like you got a good one though. Keep flying

Been scoping on this thread for a little. If you want a really awesome indoor heli that is very stable and a blast to fly get this guy. Its 30 bucks and they last forever, I have had mine for almost a year now and have taught many little kids to fly it (crash it) and it is still in good shape!

Thanks for the info guys! I definitely want something I can fly inside...I want to get a little better with them before I venture into anything much more expensive/advanced.
