Well I couldn't fight the urge any more, I dropped the coin.

I got a TA SC8e on the way! I was going back and forth between the Slash 4x4 ultimate and the SC8. The SC8e was actually $10 cheaper. But those 3s Lipo batteries aren't cheap.

I'm excited cause it should be here Wed. :yay:

Fear, I'm pretty sure I just came across (literally and realistically) a new DEX408, I'm pitching a little wood here. But it may be from watching F1 qualifying from Monaco...

Took my new crawler out for a first run, snapped the rear 3 link connector :(

Anyone make a aluminum one besides hot racing?

I would get the full Axial aluminum link set. Part # AX30550 for the Honcho. Installing mine today after I waterproof.

I see you guys mainly talk about crawlers, but curious if anyone can help. I keep breaking my 2wd slash brushless input shaft pin, the rolled one. Not sure why traxxas would just put a sleeve in there and not a solid one but whatever. I've heard of drilling a 1/16 hole in the place of it, and sliding in a hub pin. Anybody heard of this? Or have a better fix?

Just get the 4- link and be done with it.

I believe the that part number stated about is the 4-link set up

Yeah, it was posed to ship out today, it was the "used" one over on RCTech, that's never had a battery ran though it. Couple sets of tires/rims NIP, all the gold bits, built with Kyosho springs and some type (can't recall) of shock pistons.
    I'm stoked....

Id like to, trying to put new tires on my 1:1 truck so thats around $1500 I need.. trying to get the best cheapest route back running, ill just get the hot racing 3 link connector and keep going.

that link set is for a 3 or 4 link setup, you still need more parts to make it a 4 link also.

Im not too sure, i havnt dug into the conversion too much yet, I believe longer links are needed, not sure what else.

I read up awhile back on how to make your own aluminum links so i may look into it more now, then all i would need is the mounting hardware for a 4 link setup.
