The adapter piece for the 4-link is plastic and it comes in the setup.

I could be wrong on that. it says it has everything to make it a 3 or 4 link :notsure:

I read on rcc longer links were needed.

Axial makes two sizes of alum links one for the dingo (smaller wheel base) and a longer set for honcho

The kit comes with everything you need except the extra 4-link truss that is included with the spare parts you get with the truck.

Looks like I'll be 4-linked front and rear before the night is out.

Oh, forgot to mention, took the truck for it's maiden voyage on the 2.2s and it did awesome. I only have a very small rock pile on my back patio but it was able to take lines it never would have been able to with the 1.9s.

Also got the ESC and other electronics ballooned, marine grease in both axles and an o-ring and a little marine grease in the servo.

Haven't done the transmission yet - I've never been good with those. Always forget which gear goes where, etc...

That's a bummer! Looks like you can get them on eBay for pretty cheap.

Where did you get the aluminum links you have now?

Haha, just rip it apart and if you fail to get it back together, then get more beer, if you succeed still grab more beer!

So wait...I need more beer, right? Done. :p

Maybe it's the beer, but the instructions for this link kit suck. It makes it look like the rod ends are straight, but they're actually angled. Thankfully my common sense is still going strong.

    That's where I'm heading next.

I was actually just looking up the helicopter you recommended me start with today - happen to remember? I wasn't able to find it but I only looked for like 10 minutes.
