Well, I went full retard. It was the driveshaft alignment after all.

I had no idea that being just a little out of phase could do that.

I lined it up meticulously this time and it's running smooth as glass...well...for having 2.2s on it anyway.

    I love the Interwebz.

    $150 ain't bad at all!

I won't be able to get it before the 15th, but I will definitely be hitting you up when I get it if I have any issues.

I've flown the little Styrofoam micro-helis before - I flew the legit Chinese versions, but they were the same as the Air Hogs Havoc Helis. Those were a real bitch due to the lack of controls you had so I got accustomed to throttle control...but that was about it.

    Thanks for the recommendation!

NEVER.....GO FULL RETARD. Although I think Greg did it twice this week.

I get two texts from him in the last week. First one because he's trying to ground his amp to the back of the head unit and can't figure why it wont work. Told him I'm in Tampa or I'd come over. Then he texts me again the day before.... HEY ya wanna go shooting Saturday. IM IN TAMPA! LOL. :):). Only love for ya buddy. LOL

Finally got her finished up for the weekend and as long the weather cooperates in the next hour or two, I'll be taking her out for her maiden voyage on the rocks.

I added two lights in the rear (not wired up yet) and a little extra chain I had laying around (not quite scale).

Now that the binding issue I had is fixed, I'm stoked with how it turned out! I know a lot more about this thing than I did before and I am much more comfortable working on it. Overall, a successful weekend for me!

    On to the pics...

Very true and thanks! I'm really happy with it.

I'll be ordering some other small scale stuff out of my next paycheck like a propane tank, fire extinguisher and Hi-Lift. Hopefully it will still look at least a little scale even with the Pit Bulls.

What about an R/C though? :p

Nice! I wish we had rocks like that around here. Even under the overpasses there aren't rocks like that here. I'm used to them being everywhere.

    Have any more pics?

Hell, I'd just be happy to have that stuff near me.

The best thing I found was a pile of demo'd asphalt at a parking lot they are redoing about 15 minutes from my house.

I may go back tomorrow to see what all this rain from Beryl does to it.

Yeah, typical rain bands. Pours for 10 minutes or so and then stops, pours for 10 minutes and repeats...

Where in Orlando does she live? Downtown or outside downtown?

Eh, no big deal. Always curious to hear which part people live in. I've only lived downtown since I moved here and I love it - others hate it.
