I've to a get a new body/paint theme going on, this one came solid black, (my worst nightmare) I like bright fluorescent colors, something that shows up on the track, I'll get something going on soon.

Thanks, I'm at this minute trying to come up with something for a friend. He gave me a bulldog body for a T4. I'll post when finished.

You might as well do some research on some upgrades if it's burnt up.

RCShortCourse.com is the place to go.

Well I gave the boat a good look over, everything is good on it so I tried to bind the mr200 rx I bought new for it. I cant seem to get it to bind, the rx is supposed to flash until its binded to the tx, but I cant get the light to come one and bink. It lights up for a split second but goes away, iv messed with moving all the connections, tried flipping everything around, it will not blink, im at a loss :(

Its a mr200 rx im trying to bind to my dx3s, iv done it twice before with both my other boats and didnt have any real issues, maybe I have a defective rx :notsure:

Sometimes you can be too close to the receiver with the radio while binding, just throwing it out there, you prolly know this. Try moving it to another model and see if you have the same results.

I actualy didnt know the too close thing, read about it in my research tho, I found alot on issues with not binding, my issue is the rx wont stay on (like theres a bad connection inside it). I tried it in my other boats that already have the same rx and it does the same not stay on thing so I have concluded its faulty. For now ill use my stock rx/tx out of my motley crew so i can run it.

Ill give amain a call tomorrow and see if they help, if not ill call horizon.

How much are those recievers, and from where? Not sure if your up on them, but Orange just released 2.4 Spectrum surface compatible receivers, I've been using them in all my aircraft with zero issues, best thing, the ones for planes/helis sell for around $10.00 domestic, $5.00 and change if you can wait on the boat, not sure yet on the surface models. One other bonus, there pretty small as well.

Thanks guys! Apparently when the re-gearing paper says "dont run for extended period of time due to overheating" they mean it!
