I don't see many indoor tracks in general. I just saw the nitro cloud and it brought back memories of windless days outside lol

 

Yea, only bad is that I got a warning for using a "motorized" vehicle on the actual bike trail. As long as I am on the dirt and it is not busy, they don't care.

Yep, desolder the battery connectors, cut down to the right length and resolder. Simple

 

I did my ESC leads the other day. New soldering iron makes things a helluva lot easier.

 

I have yet to find a soldering iron that I'm decent with.

I have an 80W stained glass one I got at Lowe's - it's just a Weller with both the thick and thin tips. I tried doing my Deans connectors and failed miserably.

Deans are a pain, you need a third hand tool or at least a couple sets of pliers with rubber bands around the handles to hold your parts while soldering.

It's ready to solder in 35 seconds. I don't know or understand why it works so well, but it does.
