Hey man, just wanted to let you know i finally am back to getting that boat running. cut out the the fiberglass motor mounts and stuff last weekend, got the new carbon fiber mounts put in yesterday to hold the bigger motor, snapped the flex tube from dry rot so waiting on that now, should have it rtr by the weekend if I get the tube in time. also re-enforced the bottom of the hull to handle the new power. I should be able to run it on 4-6s, but im gonna prop it for 5s, should see mid 60s..

Should be a badass boat when its done

That does sting a little, especially for a 2wd buggy.

 

Yeah, ill be sure and get a video when i get it set up and tuned. Ended up pulling the vinyl, few spots were peeling up so i just pulled it all off, depending on how it runs, i may take it to a local airbush guy and let him go wild on it.

 

it's been my experience that all kyoshos tend to be grossly overpriced.

 

Holy shit that's ridiculously overpriced. I would never pay that much for ANY rc. I can get an 8th scale truggy with electronics for that price.
