Sounds like its time for new batteries. I can get almost twenty minutes out of some Nano-Tec 5600 mah, (RX8/1900). Gonna try some "shorty" packs just to lighten my overall weight, and have the ability to adjust basis.

Question for you guys...

Looking to buy a 1/24 Losi short course truck to play with in my downtime on deployment. Thing is... winter is rolling in here and snow will be a constant factor soon.

How water proof are those 1/24 micro Losi's? If they're not, is there anything I can do so I can run it in the snow without fear of breaking shit?

 

well i dont think you're gonna have much fun in the snow with a car not much bigger than a hot wheels car.. you might want to look into the 1/16 or 1/18 traxxas and losi cars

I'd love to have a bigger car but I have to be able to carry everything I own on short notice, so size definitely counts.

I'm not looking to drive it around in a foot of snow but if the underbelly hits spots of snow every once in a while is it going to fry the electronics or will it be good to go?
