Yeah the Ram body is nice. The Traxxas trucks are solid. I bought this one for bashing but will be investing in another SCT for racing.

Well I've come to you guys before for advice and you haven't steered me wrong so I'm back for more advice

I have a traxxas slash 4x4.
I burned up the stock motor a wile back. And have been running a castle momba 4pole

Well stupid me I used servo tape to hold down the ESC and it came loose and I ran it over and it ripped the wires out of it

Can I use the stock villium ESC with the momba 4pole motor ? Is my question

Or do I need to get a new momba ESC ?

Short answer is no, its not meant for a 4pole motor, you wont get its full potential. Look for another castle esc if your isnt repairable

Yea the ESC is fryed. My buddy just came by and looked at it and our final verdict is the ESC is smoked

So cool. No stock villium ESC. I'll got spend more money Java

As far as HPI goes, they have been delaying the 1/8th gas line for a while, but it shouldn't be too far out

I'm looking forward to the 1/8 gas trucks, I was gonna get out of RC all together (sell my Mini e revo for a gun) until I found out about these. should be cool, and won't have to worry about finding fuel

Its a new company called vaterra, its called the twin hammers, im selling my exo and replacing it with this. I love that it has ifs up front, locked solid axle in the rear, 4 linked rear, the new spektrum waterproof r/x, and a 2 speed trans.
