Thanks for the options and help. I was looking into sailplanes as thermals are abundant and level ground for take off/ landing is at a premium up here. I do love a Corsair, my grandfather flew F4U-4's and I guess he passed the love for them onto me.

I fly mine with no landing gear, and just belly land in grass, with no worries, and hand launch. I don't have the retracts, and think the wheels ruin the scale look of the plane in the air.

Do you have the F4? Been looking at it and you might have talked me into trying one out.

Yes, I have it. Was my first four channel plane. Every guy at my flying field has one, they all love them. There is a Hellcat, and a P51D, a T28 Trojan, a Focke Wollfe 190 (sp) Messerschmitt 109, maybe a Spitfire, and all are great fliers, but the F4U does it for me...

    I got $20.00

kidding, I would, just to get back into nitro after going electric, but I don't play with RC enough any more to be worth it... How did you like the jato when you used it though?

If I ever do get back into RC it will either be through a Jato or one of the new HPI 1/8 gasoline trucks

Alright. Sold. Gonna get the F4U and a Great Planes Bird of Time. My last Spirit kit was set up on 6 channel, so the Bird of Time should make for a fun lazy afternoon. Gonna give the EP stuff a try, seems to have alot of followers.

I fly as a hobby too and Futaba has been the brand of system since I started in 1990. Never had a problem... and I fly fairly expensive planes too.

Well you did a good job. Super fun track I've only started going to tracks over the past few weeks. And its so much more fun than bashing or hitting up a bmx track.

After 2 batterys I felt I had that place figured out. And by the time I went though my 4th battery I was doing a decent job of keeping up with some of the faster guys there.

Everyone was super friendly took me forever to figure out that big triple. Double single works the best. But its hard not to just grab throttle and they make it clean

I really want a rc10b4 now. I've heard the b4.2 is the way to go.

Hit up my local track today. Was a little muddy still but today was my last chance this week to go. A lot of fun still! My truck easily doubled in weight from all the mud. The whole chassis plate was full haha.

Thanks man! Come back out on Saturday and race with us! Its only 15 bucks and we have a novice class. The tripple is awesome I can show you how to clear the whole thing. When racing I clear the whole thing. the race program is super fun I'll introduce you the the race director Scott and he'll make you feel right at home.

There are a lot of great buggies the b4.2 is a good one. I run the Team C buggie. I won last night.

I prefer the Team C buggy over the b4.2

Why? I've had a Wraith and loved it but now that I'm looking to get another one, the Twin Hammers has caught my eye. They both have their ups and downs but I can't make up my mind. I am also supposed to meet a guy to buy a Wraith on Monday so I need to make up my mind quick haha.
