Looks great man! I like those tires but I think I am going to go a little more scale with the rock lox. You should look into lowering it. Really easy and helps cut down on the topheavyness. You can get the lowering kits or you can just flip the lower link mounts on the axles. Made a huge difference on mine. Which hitec do you have? 7955?

My thoughts as well!!! I've kinda got out of it a bit over winter, but a awesome new layout at the local track and warmer weather has me itching again. I'll post some pics of the new layout soon.

    :brianr: screw you guys, haha.

if the nearest track wasn't over an hour with no traffic I'd be more into it. The crawlers I can just make work in more places, but I do have a lot of go fast stuff still :D

i need to get to the race track. got a huge indoor dirt track about a half hour away. got a 1/10 buggy about a week ago and threw a brushless into it. should have fun at the track between that and the short course truck. just need to buy a few more batteries first.

haha I love to haul ass and hit jumps at my local track but I have a slash 4x4 which is more of a basher than a racer. I really want a 1/8 e buggy but I can't afford one right now. I love my crawler because I live in the mountains and can take it to lots of awesome places in walking distance of my house and have a huge state park about 5 min away.

Edit: Anyone in here familiar with the backslash conversion? I'm thinking about doing it to my slash. Getting tired of the parachute effect of short course bodies.

Ya got the 7955. I put a Savox on my kids Ridgecrest and like it a little more. Its a little quicker and has a little more torque.

Whats the model number of the savox and how much was it? Hard for me to justify dropping $100+ on a servo..

i'm think i'm going to try this guy to try to get rid of some of the parachute effect. couple vent holes and it should fly pretty well.

I can't decide if I like the BAR body or not. It is pretty cool though. I drilled all kinds of holes in my stock beater body and all it takes is a little breeze and away goes my truck...

Talked to my local hobby shop owner and he's going to order the things I need. Should only cost like $75 or so. Going to use a truggy body because it looks sweet

Here's a picture of a backslash with the bulldog truggy body:

The body mounts that people are using are stupid easy to make. Lots of methods too.

Well damn. I'm trying to look at a lot of different versions. I am really liking the PL Bulldog body. What 17mm adaptors and wing mount did you use?

That link you posted (from PhotoBucket) shows a buggy body, not a truggy body. Heres a PL Bulldog truggy body.
