got the losi to the track today had some fun with it. still learning how to tune it properly. it was fast but slow off the start and it took a while to get up to speed and when it did it wouldn't back down off the throttle, also i went through a rim, the inner part that hold it on to the axle was a complete circle it had lost all its grip and would just spin freely. i only had 3 wheels working by the end of the day. time to pick up a new set.

Get some aluminum hexes and make it a habit to retighten the wheel nuts. Aluminum hexes are expensive but worth it. I have them on my crawler and my slash.

those are serrated wheel nuts. they lock onto the wheels when you tighten them down so they dont back off and possibly ruin your wheels or have them fly off while your running it.

7e6ymusy_0e04ad3ef83b43c79a28d3d56e1280f32e0de2eb.jpgsorry that it's sideways. But I have a question. I have a 6cell battery and this charger for it...I set it up to charge a NiMH...what do I set up for the charging options? For the amps?? For the volts? So much to choose from.

What am I doing wrong..the sc10 only runs for like a min and it's super slow as well.

If you have lipo cutoff turned on, assuming your sc10 esc has that function, and run a nimh battery, it will run great for a second then go dead like you are describing.

Nimh batteries are designed to drain fully where lipos are not. Lipos can only be drained down to around 3.2-3.3 volts per cell. Lipo cutoff kills the power to your truck at these levels so your battery is not damaged. So if lipo cutoff is on while running a nimh pack, your esc will cut power even though your nimh still has usable power left. Make sense?

It actually has nothing to do with your charging options. More so the difference between lipo and nimh operating voltages. Even if your nimh has a full charge, with lipo cutoff on it will still cut power soon after you start running it.

Hmmm. I would try recharging your pack to make sure it's topped off since nimh packs fade. I charge my nimh packs at 5 amps by the way. But make sure lipo cutoff is OFF if you are using nimh batteries. Also, my stock slash esc had a "training mode" where the power was cut to 50%. I'm not sure if yours has that but it could. I'll look around for you.
