Anyone into R/C?

Looking around online and ran across this associated SC10RS. I am so getting one of theese! What do ya'll think, old school color scheme or Monster energy?

So the T4.1 did good, just heavier oil, stock rtr tires and new ugly body, left everything else as I had it setup for dirt, managed to get a 3rd on A. I was glad to run it as it had been sitting in the closet for months, really had a lot of fun with 3 qualifiers and the main. I need at least 2 more lipos and maybe a better servo (but not sure what to get). The carpet ate the tires so I need to get myself some at least half worn rtr tires.

 

I just put on a set of Pro line gladiators in M2 medium compound and man those things are sticky. Gonna probaly put a set on the front also. Night and day compared to RTR's on my torment.

I need to get some better tires, but then driving with no control is kinda fun lol

 

i just bought new tires and wheels (pro-line trenchers) and a new servo and a ton of new parts as my truck pretty much took a crap on me.. all kinds of stuff broke all at the same time.. shocks blew out.. front bumper is cracked.. belt got shredded and is unusable. new body

ya did just get the truck but my shocks fell apart due to screws inside the shock body not being thread locked when built and my belt got shredded for some reason?? my servo should not have as much play.. i feel like i got a defective truck the new body is my fault though and the tires and wheel purchase are not needed unlike everything else

 

haha the more you play with it the more time(and money) you will spend maintaining it. alot of guys don't last long with these kind of hobbies. you have to really enjoy it...

seems weird is falling apart so soon, where are you running it? If your doing any kind of bashing that might explain it from what ive read sc10 are great racing but cant take bashing. I took my slash to the skate park aftert running it at the track, went up in the air landed on every possible side and nothing broke, then again theres plenty of rpm parts on it

 

ya i may have been bashing it a little but after all this it will be ready to go but not so much bashing from now on.. i have RPM front and rear control arms

 

received all my parts and they are installed!! just have some trimming on the body and have to do paint now! my truck runs even better than when it was new! had a few hiccups along the way with broken ball studs and no shock oil but that is all taken care of and it is ready for the track!!
