    Seriously? You're welcome...

2.2 Pit Bull Rock Beast XORTM (original)

2.2 Pit Bull II Rock Beast (new)

The one thing I have never been able to find in stock are the Pit Bull foams. I used some ProComp two-stage foams and had great luck with them. I always kept a second set given how gross they can get from mud runs. Swap the set, soak the others and wash them and repeat.

    Welcome! RPP is awesome.

I would act pretty quickly on the new ones, though. I've heard they sell out frequently.

Honestly, though, unless you're going for scale and a little narrower, the original Pit Bulls are unstoppable in nearly every terrain.

Having problems with my ridgecrest, after about 1 minute it loses power slowly and won't move but I still have steering, I called axial and re-programmed the esc but still nothing any ideas?

is it a stock ridgecrest? could be a few things such as a faulty r/x, esc is screwed, or even a bad battery. I had the same issue with my slash, turned out I had my rx wire too close to my battery..

It's stock as far as motor and all the electronics go, I bought a new battery because I thought it was a bad battery but it's got the same problem as before

I had a similar issue about a year ago. Turned out to be a bad receiver.

that's my assumption aswell, I don't see the esc being the issue.

should i try re bonding the receiver? it works fine for a minute but the axial guy said it was the lipo cut off thats making it not turn the motor

are you running a lipo or nimh? if your running in lipo mode on the esc and your using a lipo it should not slowly lose power, mine will run fully until lipo cut off and then that's it (usually takes 30+ minutes). Im leaning towards the rx is bad, you can try rebinding it but that may not be the issue, I would try to find another axial r/x or try another rx/tx to see if that's your problem.

when my receiver went bad, at close range (within 5-10 ft) it would go at half power. as soon as I got beyond that distance, it would cut the motor and I would only have steering. rebonding didn't help. had to replace the receiver. luckily it was doing it right after I got it, so it was a no-cost warranty replacement.

is it constantly throwing sparks, or just when you apply brakes/change direction?

What rc are we talking about by the way? When you throw a big ass battery in something, generally it will need to be geared down for temps. You wont loose top end by gearing down and going to a bigger battery bc the bigger battery will turn more rpms anyways.

Torspd's roommate hade a little accident with the summit the other day. full speed into a parked car's tire. held up great actually. only thing that broke was the front driveshaft twisting in two. went with the traxxas stainless CV upgraded driveshafts. love the quality of these things.
